Lord Mayor’s Creative Fellowships 2021-22

The Lord Mayor’s Creative Fellowships support Brisbane artists, arts workers, cultural workers and creative producers wishing to develop and expand their careers in the arts and cultural sector by participating in:

  • skills development
  • masterclasses/workshops
  • art residencies
  • attendance at conferences
  • short course training
  • mentorships
  • structured learning experiences.

There are two funding categories:

  1. Individuals – applicants may apply for up to $10,000 to support individual Brisbane artists, arts workers, cultural workers or creative producers to undertake professional development opportunities.
  2. Organisations – applicants may apply for $30,000 to support organisations who will provide multiple Brisbane artists, arts workers, cultural workers or creative producers professional development opportunities through the creation of a new development program.

Applications open 9am, Tuesday 7 December 2021.

Applications close 3pm, Monday 31 January 2022.

Interested? Join one of our upcoming information sessions to get some tips on how to stand out from the crowd, navigate budget pitfalls and write that winning application. At the information sessions you will:

  • get a detailed overview of the Lord Mayor’s Creative Fellowships
  • find out about the program’s eligibility criteria
  • receive tips on completing your application
  • have the opportunity to ask questions.

Information sessions are free to attend however it is essential you register your attendance.
